2017 Brisbane Truck Show tops 2015 attendance

After a successful 2017 Brisbane Truck Show, Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) is back at work planning the next instalment of the event.

According to HVIA, some 33,763 visitors came through the door this year, topping 2015 attendance figures.

However, the industry association pointed out it has already begun a “comprehensive post-show examination”, with Chief Executive, Brett Wright, stating that “HVIA is striving for continuous improvement”.

“Our visitor, exhibitor and stakeholder surveys will inform our in-depth analysis. No stone is left unturned as we explore every opportunity to keep improving different aspects of the show,” he said.

The 2017 Brisbane Truck Show covered 35,000m2 over three levels of the Brisbane Convention Centre.

“Exhibitors really need to be commended for the presentation of their displays,” Wright commented.

“They really went all out to create a special visitor experience, so it is gratifying to see so much business being done on the stands.”

Asked what opportunities there are for involvement in the next show, Wright invited any interested company or individual to get in touch. “We invite all friends of the show to stay connected as planning begins for an even better 2019 Brisbane Truck Show.”

Wright also unveiled that the event will return the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 16 to 19 May 2019.
