AHG talks refrigerated logistics, trucks division

Automotive Holdings Group (AHG) highlighted the transformation of its refrigerated logistics business and strong performance in trucks at its recent annual general meeting.

AHG Meeting Chair, Andrea Hall, is confident of improved returns from its Refrigerated Logistics arm.

“The business has transitioned from being substantially transaction‐focused to a fully integrated service provider,” said Hall. It is a strong and growing market leader in temperature‐controlled transport and storage,
where scale (again) offers enormous opportunity.”

Last year, AHG separated its Trucks business into a new division under the leadership of Simon Ramsay.

Hall said it is pleasing to see strong performance delivered under Ramsay’s leadership.

“We see the strength of the market in heavy commercial vehicles as an encouraging lead indicator of the economy, particularly here in Western Australia,” said Hall.

AHG said the Group remains well positioned to benefit from the inevitable upturn in the Western Australian economy.

In July, AHG reported disruption with the sale of its Refrigerated Logistics business.
