ARRB welcomes new State Technical Leader VIC/TAS

The Australian Road Research Board (ARRB) has reported its appointment of civil engineer, Samantha Taylor, as State Technical Leader – Victoria/Tasmania.

According to ARRB, Taylor has a master’s degree in Urban Goods Movement, and a transport folio that includes freight and logistics, Intelligent Transport Systems, Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs), transport planning, asset management, traffic engineering, safety and public transport.

ARRB Chief Executive, Michael Caltabiano, has said that Samantha was another outstanding candidate, and delighted to appoint her to the position.

“Samantha’s extensive understanding of our stakeholders and the bridge between government, the community and business in the transport space, means she is well placed to lead the Victorian/Tasmanian teams through the next phase of ARRB’s transformation,” said Caltabiano.

“Samantha and her team will actively contribute to drive innovation and deliver an adaptable, connected future,” he said.

Last month, the ARRB named Matthew Bereni as its State Technical Leader – Queensland.
