ARTSA Global Leaders Summit to address blockchain

Chief Analytics Officer for US-based FreightWaves and Blockchain in Trucking Alliance (BiTA), Dean Croke, will speak at the business innovation session at the ARTSA Global Leaders Summit in Melbourne on 8 May.

Australian Road Transport Suppliers Association Executive Director, Rob Perkins, said with blockchain as a new buzzword in logistics, one of the world’s foremost experts has joined the Global Heavy Vehicle Leaders Summit program.

“Croke played a key role in the development of TruckSafe in Australia,” said Perkins.

“He has spent the past 15 years working with leading technology firms in the US. His fields of expertise include fatigue management, risk management and data analytics for the transport sector.

“Dean will speak on the evolution of blockchain and why this technology will change the face of logistics,” he said.

“It's a revolution that will influence all transport and logistics firms and fits very well with the theme of the conference – from disruption comes innovation,” said Croke.

Dr Alan Finkel, Chief Scientist of Australia, will open the ARTSA Global Leaders Summit.
