ATA welcomes new members to its board

The Australian Trucking Association (ATA) today welcomed Andy Divall and Simon Skazlic to its board.

Divall is the owner of Divall’s Earthmoving and Bulk Haulage, a Goulburn-based company he operates with his brother Michael. In recent times it has diversified operations to meet the needs of the community by offering professional opportunities for locals.

Skazlic, Executive General Manager, Health Safety & Environment Compliance at K&S Freighters has been instrumental in improvements for drivers and industry personnel by heading an industry committee to develop best practice guidelines to prevent loading and unloading accidents. He also helped create safety guidelines surrounding the sites of roadside breakdowns. He has been a contributor to the ATA Council since 2003.

In 2013 he was recognised with the Don Watson Memorial Award for his services to the trucking industry.

“Andy and Simon have vast experience in the trucking industry, and I look forward to working with them closely on the board,” said ATA Chair, Geoff Crouch.
