Outgoing Brambles CEO comments on time in role

Outgoing Brambles CEO, Tom Gorman, reveals the company's growth during his tenure at the logistics company, despite an earnings downgrade this week.

Gorman revealed that Brambles shares increased 70 per cent since he first became CEO in 2009, in response to news that Brambles shares fell almost 17 per cent after destocking by US retailers in December affected business.

Gorman told the Australian Financial Review that while the downgrade was disappointing, it is too early to tell if the drop is a trend in the US market and refused to align the fall with Trump's inauguration.
