Chain of Responsibility in focus at TMC2017

Due to changes coming to the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) in 2018, the Australian Trucking Association (ATA), in conjunction with the Australian Road Transport Suppliers Association (ARTSA), will host a plenary session on the topic at the Technical and Maintenance Conference 2017 (TMC).

The conference will be held at the Automotive Centre of Excellence (Kangan Institute - Docklands) in Melbourne from Monday 16 October to Wednesday 18 October 2017.

The TMC plenary session on CoR will reportedly cover the master development between the ATA and Australian Logistics Council (ALC) as well as the practical application of COR in the field.

In addition to CoR, the TMC program this year will also include VBS6 Modifications code, National Heavy Vehicle Inspection Manual updates from rigids to road trains and Performance-Based Standards (PBS) advance sessions. Also, there will be hands-on demonstrations of world leading technology.

TMC2017 will reportedly open with a lunch sponsored by Cummins where the 2016 Craig Roseneder Award winner will share his TMC experience over the last year.
