Industrial engine supplier, Isuzu Power Solutions (IPS), has appointed Troy Lawson, formerly of Cummins South Pacific, as Sales Manager for South Australia and New South Wales.
According to IPS Head, Matt Sakhaie, Lawson’s appointment is a strategic move to further strengthen the organisation’s presence across Australia, following the recent rebranding of Isuzu Australia Limited’s off-highway engines department to IPS.
"The rebrand represents a very exciting time for us, and Troy’s appointment is one of the first steps in assembling a passionate and high-performing team here," said Sakhaie. "Troy is well respected in the power generation and marine industries, and we believe his experience and skills in the sector will richly benefit the IPS team."
Lawson has more than two decades of experience in the power solutions market, most notably his senior business and sales management roles with Cummins South Pacific.
He aims to contribute positively to the growth of the IPS brand.
"There is a huge opportunity to grow IPS and I look forward to the challenge of identifying what the market requires and making sure we’ve got the best solution to meet those needs," said Lawson.
"The Isuzu brand is well-established and respected in the industry, with a solid dealer network already in place; the team at IPS follows a disciplined approach, balanced by a great work culture, which makes the role an excellent fit for me," he said.
Representing the IPS team, Lawson will be greeting the public at the upcoming Henty Machinery Field Days at Henty in southern New South Wales, 17-19 September.
