Dana opens new Melbourne site

Dana Australia has opened the doors to its new 10,000m² manufacturing facility in Keysborough, Victoria.

The $30 million facility took a little under 12 months to complete and brings the company’s supply chain operations, engineering, design and manufacturing under one roof. 

“Dana has served the Australian market for more than 40 years, and our customers will find that this new facility symbolises Dana’s continued commitment to the unique needs of this market,” said Peter Langworthy, Managing Director of Dana Australia.

According to the the company, in addition to the manufacturing centre, the new site will also be an aftermarket distribution centre for products covering all vehicle types sourced locally and from Dana’s international network.

Dana produces Spicer axles, driveshafts, steer shafts, and joint assemblies for commercial vehicles, as well as driveshafts for the light-vehicle industry, at the facility.
