Fuso FG 4x4 Canter gets showcase at AFAC

Commercial vehicle manufacturer, Fuso Truck and Bus, is about to showcase its FG 4x4 Canter at the Australasian Fire and Emergency Service Authorities Council (AFAC) exhibition in Perth.

Fuso, a long time supplier of vehicles for Australian emergency response fleets, will demonstrate its unique short wheelbase of the 4x4 in a single cab model this week as part of its exhibit.

The light duty truck features a Quik Corp light pumper body.

Also available in a crew cab that seats up to seven, the Canter 4x4 comes in long and short wheelbases and boasts a turning circle in the shorter iteration of 11.4 metres.

The optional 4500kg FG Canter can be driven on a car licence.

A two-speed transfer case in addition to a rear Limited Slip Differential are both featured on the truck to enhance its performance on steep grades and on undulating terrain.

Reinforced protection has been applied to Electronic Brake Force Distribution, drum brakes and CV Joints to ensure maximum braking efficiency.

Dual driver and passenger airbags and a reverse camera kit come as standard.

The Canter manufacturer warranty covers five years or 200,000km with service intervals offered at 30,000km.
