Fuso rolls out new Built Ready range

Commercial vehicle manufacturer, Fuso, has released its new range of Built Ready trucks, targeting customers challenged by time.

Eight different commercial models can be purchased with bodies already fitted, reportedly saving fleets additional design and manufacturing. These will include Canter tippers, trays, refrigerated trucks and Pantechs in addition to the larger Fighter tipper and tautliner.

Sourced directly from Japan, the Built Ready Canter tippers come in two models.

The 515 City comes with standard cab and has a gross vehicle mass (GVM) of six tonnes, while the 715 Wide Cab is slightly bigger with a GVM of 6.5 tonnes.

“We have been working on this program for quite some time because we wanted to get this right,” said Fuso Director, Justin Whitford. “The quality of these bodies is excellent and we know the design and features will be appreciated by customers who use these trucks all day, every day.”

The medium duty Fighter tipper, with a GVM of 11 tonnes, is aimed at operations that require a greater payload for each run. A Canter 515 Wide Cab Pantech has been designed to suit the needs of delivery customers. It features a chequerplate floor, a Dhollandia tuck-away lift, and interior LEDs. A choice in fiberglass-reinforced panels or a lighter honeycomb fiberglass construction is offered.

“Fuso wants to make it easier for our customers to do business, so we have developed the Built Ready range that covers a wide range of applications,” said Whitford. “We know that our customers would rather be out there getting the job done than waiting for a body to be built up.”
