Hino 500 to headline Hino stand at Truck Show

Commercial vehicle manufacturer, Hino Australia, has announced the new Hino 500 will headline its stand at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show.

According to the company the Hino 500 offers Australian customers the most comprehensive active safety package available from a Japanese manufacturer in the medium duty market.

General Manager of Brand and Franchise Development Hino Australia, Bill Gillespie said the new 500 Series in Standard Cab sets new benchmarks for the medium duty sector in safety, comfort, technology, operational efficiency and green credentials.

“The interest at dealerships has been very strong so far, and we’re confident that the range, which stretches to 54 different specifications, will create a great deal of attention at the Show,” he said.

“Visitors to our stand will also go in the draw to win a fantastic unforgettable ‘money-can’t-buy’ experience, the details of which we’re keeping a surprise until the show. It should be a lot of fun,” said Gillespie.

Hino will also display as part of its Brisbane Truck Show offering a 500 Series Wide Cab, winner of ‘Best Light or Medium Duty Truck’ at the 2017 event.

The 300 Series 817 4x4, also launched in 2017, will feature as part of Hino’s lineup.

In its first full year on sale in 2018, it exceeded sales targets by 50 per cent according to the company.

The commercial vehicle manufacturer confirmed its 700 Series heavy duty range will be represented by a SH 2045 which tows the Hino Sports Deck display trailer.

The biennial Brisbane Truck Show will be staged at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 16 – 19 May.
