Hino Australia celebrates a decade of excellence

Commercial vehicle manufacturer, Hino Australia, has been recognised as one of the world’s leading Hino parts distributors by its global parent, Hino Motors, for the tenth consecutive year.

“The 2017 Parts Department of the Year award reinforces Hino Australia’s commitment to be seen as a trusted business partner for our customers, which is underpinned by our Hino Advantage program,”” said Hino Australia General Manager – Product Support, Greg Bleasel.

Hino Advantage is a suite of innovative business building benefits including servicing and parts solutions that can reportedly increase operational efficiency for Hino customers.

"As part of our pricing strategy, which we completed the final stage of last year, the price of engine and drive line repair parts has decreased by an average of 24 per cent,” said Bleasel.

“This reduction in parts pricing has allowed us to reduce service costs and offer capped price servicing on all trucks compliant with Euro 5 emission standards,” he said.

To further provide customers with certainty around cost, the Hino Advantage customer program also offers a three-years unlimited kilometre parts warranty on Hino genuine parts when purchased and installed by an authorised Hino dealership.

“For trade repairers, Hino offers Hino Advantage Rewards, a generous scheme which provides one Velocity Frequent Flyer Point for every $AUD1* (excluding GST) that a repairer spends on Hino Genuine Parts at participating Hino dealerships on their trade account,” said Bleasel.

The judging criteria for the Parts Department of the Year award included key performance indicators such as customer retention, parts growth and supply rates, and customer support programs.

“To continually innovate and evolve sufficiently to win this award every year for the last decade is a credit to the significant efforts from our Hino Australia staff, Hino dealers and trained parts interpreters and service technicians,” said Bleasel.
