Hino Australia recognised with international Service Award

Hino Australia has again been named a premier distributor in the world for parts and service. The Service Award, acknowledged internally across Hino Motors Limited, recognised the local arm of the organisation with two of the top awards.
It also took out 2017 Parts Department of the Year.

It’s the seventh successive year Hino Australia has taken out the prestigious double.

“At Hino Australia, we aim to be a trusted partner for our customers – through our Hino Advantage program, our Product Support department is a significant contributor to this,” said Hino Australia, General Manager, Product Support, Greg Bleasel.

“Initiatives such as our capped price service program contributed to our victory as 2017 Service Department of the Year,” he said. “This product offering was recently extended to include all trucks compliant with Euro 5 emission regulations, meaning Hino customers pay less of the life of their vehicles.”

Judges of the Service Award considered a mix of criteria. These included customer retention, customer oriented activities such as fleet training and customer information management and support programs.

Bleasel said Hino Australia was proud to be the first and only truck manufacturer in Australia to offer capped price service to its customers.

“Winning these prestigious awards for the seventh consecutive year is a tribute to the continual efforts, hard work and dedication of our dealerships, trained service technicians, parts interpreters and head office staff,” Bleasel said.
