Hunters & Collectors rock star to headline AFIA

Hunters & Collectors front man, Mark Seymour, is set to entertain over 700 guests at the Victorian Transport Association’s (VTA) annual Australian Freight Industry Awards (AFIA), to be held at the Palladium Ballroom at Crown on 2 September.

Mark Seymour and his band, The Undertow, will perform classic songs such as ‘Holy Grail’ and will be supported by Motown act, The Matt Hetherington Band, and VTA signature performer, Sarah Valentine.

“The AFIAs is one of the most highly-anticipated nights on the Victorian transport industry events calendar,” said VTA CEO, Peter Anderson.

“As well as celebrating the achievements of award winners, it gets the industry together to have a lot of fun, see some great entertainment, and recognise the many positive contributions we make to the communities we work in.

“Each year when planning for the awards we ask ourselves: ‘how on Earth will we top last year?’ Fortunately, we have a phenomenal events team that have great connections, and the acts we have in store for guests this year are among the most sought-after in Australia. Transport workers work extremely hard and deserve a great night out, so we hope to see another massive turn out this year.”

Tickets can be purchased via the VTA website.
