Isuzu doubles down on brand recognition with QLD appointment

Isuzu Power Solutions (IPS) has appointed a new Sales Manager for Queensland it revealed this week.

Blair Hossel, formerly at industrial diesel manufacturer Hatz, where he was responsible for building and expanding the company’s brand in Australia’s southern states, has over 30 years experience in the power solutions industry and per a statement issued from Isuzu helps increase brand recognition for IPS as it looks to maintain sales momentum and broaden its dealer network in the region.

Hossel’s extensive career includes wide-ranging roles—from stock taking in the spare parts department through to product development, marketing, sales and senior management positions at reputable industry brands.

Hossel said he was eagerly anticipating the challenges of growing and building IPS’s brand presence.

“I am excited to join the Isuzu family and the recently rebranded IPS department," he said.

“I look forward to the journey ahead, helping the IPS team build a self-sufficient and rewarding presence in Queensland."

For 15 years Hossel worked as Area Manager for Kubota Australia before taking a senior sales role at DEUTZ Asia-Pacific.

Having worked with a range of engines in applications across agriculture and irrigation, pumping and hydraulics, Hossel has built up a successful resume in internal sales programs, team leadership and improved customer experience.

Matt Sakhaie, Head of Power Solutions, said IPS was delighted with Hossel's appointment.

“His skillset and experience in business and sales development, especially in the power solutions industry, are invaluable as we continue to grow our presence in Queensland," he said.

“Blair’s background also makes him fit perfectly into our high-performing and dynamic IPS team.”
