Isuzu fights engine downtime

Truck manufacturer, Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL), has developed a Genuine Isuzu Reman Truck Engine program to assist Australian businesses and owner-drivers with Isuzu engine replacements.

The Genuine Isuzu Reman Truck Engine program includes high performance engine replacements, which are assembled at Isuzu Japan’s engine plant in Hokkaido. Isuzu maintains its quality standards and specifications by utilising only genuine Isuzu parts and components.

The Genuine Isuzu Reman Truck Engine program includes popular variants such as 4JJ1, 4Hk1 and 6UZ1 engines.

According to Isuzu, older engines are disassembled, inspected and remanufactured with replacement components. Some of these components include: engine harnesses, supply pumps, fuel injectors, turbo chargers, drain plugs, water pipes, piston pins and more.

Also, Genuine Isuzu Reman truck engines are covered by Isuzu’s 12-month, nation-wide, unlimited kilometre warranty.

Isuzu National Parts Manager, John Plunkett, said Reman Engines provide business owners with a quick, premium solution at a time when efficiency is critical.

“It’s a quality-assured, cost-effective and time sensitive way to get you back on the road, and it’s a service that comes with a reputation for expertise that others cannot match,” said Plunkett.
