Isuzu Tipper boosts QLD landscaper’s business

Matt McMahon of McMahon Earth Solutions has tailored an Isuzu FRR 107-210 Tipper to meet demand for creative landscaping projects and other commercial services.

Based in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, McMahon specialises in landscaping acreage properties.

McMahon's Isuzu Tipper serves as a transportation solution to haul required materials and machinery to and from work sites.

McMahon told the commercial vehicle manufacturer, Isuzu, that he cannot fault the functionality of the vehicle.

"It drives pretty much like an everyday sort of vehicle, like a big car," he said. “I like how easy it is to handle, and the seamless way it moves through traffic, roundabouts and general suburbia.”

Servicing beyond the Sunshine Coast, Matt has once driven his truck to and from Sydney.

“The cab is really comfortable," he said. "And that was when I used the cruise control quite a bit, it was a really handy feature."

The Isuzu Tipper has a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 10,700kg, a Gross Combination Mass (GCM) of 16,000kg, with 154 kW at 2,400 rpm and a torque of 726 Nm at 1,600 rpm.

McMahon said his Isuzu Tipper is a very powerful truck.

"It carts everything from general waste to my 4.5-tonne Caterpillar 304.E2 excavator, as well as landscaping material—which could be dirt, garden mulch, gravel, and at times even big rocks and boulders," he said. “The Isuzu is an awesome, solid truck. I’ll definitely go back to Isuzu if I need another truck.”
