IVECO confirms Euro 6 focus at Brisbane Truck Show

The IVECO range offered at May’s Brisbane Truck Show will be dedicated to promoting its Euro 6 engines across its light, medium and heavy duty commercial vehicle categories.

In a recent media release the commercial vehicle manufacturer confirmed that several of its Euro 6 offerings will be on show for the first time in Australia.

As it did last year at the IAA Truck Show in Hanover, IVECO is gearing its showcase heavily around solutions in road transport sustainability.

The recently launched locally-made Euro 6 Stralis X-Way will be on display at the Brisbane event in the form of a prime mover and rigid model.

Among its many fuel-saving measures the Stralis comes with ‘Ecoroll’, ‘Ecoswitch’ and engine anti-idling.

IVECO’s Hi-eSCR system offers advanced emission controls without requiring driver intervention.

The commercial vehicle manufacturer also confirmed  that its next generation Euro 6 ACCO will be on show for the first time in public.

A 6x4 model with Bucher compactor body and an 8x4 featuring a Hiab hooklift body will both be on display alongside a Euro 6 Eurocargo equipped with an INNOV8 attenuator body.

An International ProStar prime mover will also be part of the IVECO display.

IVECO Australia Marketing Manager, Darren Swenson, said the brand’s Brisbane Truck Show offering fit with its wider global strategy.

“IVECO is very proud to be a global leader in low emission technologies and at the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show, our low emission capabilities will be strongly displayed and promoted,” said Swenson.

“Increasingly our customers both in the private and government sectors, are requesting vehicles that meet stringent environmental standards, even before being officially mandated through legislation.”

“IVECO is very pleased to be able to provide an extensive Euro6 product offering across vans, minibuses and its light, medium and heavy duty truck ranges.”

The Brisbane Truck Show takes place at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre 16-19 May.
