‘Klassic’ Kenworths at Clarendon

Kenworth aficionados from all over the country are set to descend on the Hawkesbury Showgrounds at Clarendon, near Richmond in north-western Sydney, for the Kenworth Klassic.

Held in conjunction with the Clarendon Classic Rally, the Kenworth Klassic is reputed to be the country’s largest truck show where last year there were over 620 trucks on display, with more than 300 being part of the Kenworth Klassic event.

Gates open for set up at 14 September, 8AM, with the show itself being held across the weekend of 15-16 September. However, going on past events, the grounds are almost at capacity by Friday night.

The show’s organisers said it has taken a mammoth effort to co-ordinate this fantastic event that would not have been feasible if it wasn’t for the generous support of the following sponsors:

  • Kenworth Trucks Australia;
  • Paccar Parts Australia;
  • Gilbert & Roach Kenworth, Huntingwood;
  • Parklea Sand & Soil, South Windsor;
  • Elite Compliance Consulting;
  • Northwest Trucks, Riverstone;
  • Raymar Signs, Londonderry;
  • GRS Towing.

The organisers would also like to thank the Sydney Antique Machinery Club for allowing them to run the event on the back of their highly successful rally.
