Linfox International Group signs joint venture for BevChain Logistics

Linfox International Group, the Asian arm of third-party logistics company, Linfox, has formed a logistics joint venture with Boon Rawd Brewery, Thailand’s top brewery and maker of Singha beer.

Under the arrangement it will provide road transportation and warehousing services initially in Thailand, where operations are going to be expanded under than name BevChain Logistics.

“BevChain has been in the Australian and New Zealand market since 2006 as a specialist in the warehousing and distribution of beverages,” said Linfox International Group CEO, Greg Thomas.

"We have been planning to grow beyond the ANZ market, and this joint venture is a part of our international growth strategy,” said Thomas.

Boon Rawd Brewery also has a vision to dominate logistics networks in Thailand and across the region.

“To partner with Boon Rawd, we will build a strong and complete logistics network for regional expansion into Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam over the next three years. We will do this by combining Boon Rawd’s 85-year strength in the business, with a network covering traditional and modern trade and BevChain Logistics’ expertise in warehousing and distribution,” said Thomas.

“The BevChain Logistics model in Thailand will focus on delivering the same service standards as in Australia through managing product storage and distribution services. Our customers will benefit from the best-in-class service and flexible solutions to match with their demands,” he added.

BevChain Logistics in Thailand will offer services to Boon Rawd Brewery, other beverage sectors and compatible small-to-medium FMCG business.

BevChain is a subsidiary company of Linfox, with full ownership acquired in 2017. BevChain Logistics is the registered trade name for BevChain’s operations in Thailand.
