MAN to debut limited edition TGX at Brisbane

An all-new limited edition MAN TGX D38 will be unveiled this May at the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show according to Penske Commercial Vehicles.

The company today announced the PerformanceLine truck pushes the envelope on efficiency and performance thanks to refinements in driveline developments.

New comfort functions and improvements in appearance are also part of the exclusive edition of the new generation truck which will be available in 580hp and 640hp 6x4 configurations in a XLX or XXL cab.

PerformanceLine according to the commercial vehicle manufacturer is built to deliver high power output, an outstanding ride, improved driver comfort and low whole-of-life-costs.

Steel blue metallic interior highlights on the dashboard and door trim with distinct PerformanceLine badging have been combined with leather Alcantara seats with blue seat belts and seams.

As part of the PerformanceLine edition, it boasts an energy efficient advanced light and visibility package.

Kevin Dennis, Managing Director Penske Commercial Vehicles said he was thrilled to be bringing the limited edition PerformanceLine to the Australian market.

"We are sure that customers will agree with us that the line looks spectacular,” he said 

“Whether customers are after the 580 or 640hp option, the PerformanceLine brings exclusivity to the MAN range."

“We will also showcase an MAN TGS tipper unit at the truck show. And stay tuned for more information on Western Star Trucks soon.”
