Man Trucknology showcases Penske rigs

MAN Trucknology has showcased its range of Penske Commercial Vehicles. The annual event was held at the Mt Cotton Training Centre in Cornubia, Queensland, allowing customers to visit stations featuring demonstrations of the latest European technology.

These included emergency brake assist, adaptive cruise control and an A95 double deck bus demonstrating electronic stability control.

An all-wheel drive experience was also available. Customers were driven around the off-road track in SLRV Expedition’s TGM 13.290 4x4.

A TGS 33.440 6x6 truck from Lincon with an elevated work platform gave customers views from a height of 57 meters while Penske Truck Rental showcased its TGS 26.440.

Kevin Dennis, Managing Director, Penske Commercial Vehicles, said it was fantastic to provide customers with the unique interactive experience.

“From driving TGX D38s in bobtail, single trailer and B-double configurations around the track experiencing the latest in advanced European safety features, to being a passenger on the off-road course, to climbing into the cab of the various MAN units, it’s a pleasure to offer this hands-on experience,” he said.
