NBTA predicts record attendance for Bulk Tanker Day in QLD

With more than 200 registered to attend the first Bulk Tanker Day to be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds on 4-5 September, the National Bulk Tanker Association (NBTA) is pleased with this response.

NBTA Executive Director, Rob Perkins, said it was the first time they had run an extended program over a day and a half, and that is allowing for practical training sessions on maintenance, emergency response plans and tanker standards changes to be demonstrated on the afternoon of 4 September.

“Our normal Bulk Tanker Day program will also run on the 5 September with supplier displays as well as sessions on market outlook, safety performance, response preparedness, productivity and the usual emergency response demonstration,” said Perkins.

The event, with around 20 presenters and 18 partners, has become the go-to event for consignors, prime contractors, suppliers, regulators and enforcement personnel.

Registration is still open here.
