New Isuzu Tri-Tipper in the Ready to Work Range

Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) has announced a new tipper in its Ready to Work range. The NLR 55/45-150 Tri-Tipper has a Japanese factory-built body and can tilt either side, which offers improved manoeuvrability and allows for smarter worksite operations.

Simon Humphries, IAL Chief Engineer, Product Strategy, understands the need for innovative trucks that have versatile industrial capabilities.

“A council might need to spread mulch along on a nature strip, for example. The Tri-Tipper allows them to do this with an ease well beyond what’s possible if they’re reliant on a traditional tipper that only tilts at the rear.”

While the Isuzu 4JJ1-TCS engine has impressive pulling power, the truck can also be de-rated so that it can be driven on a car licence. The tipper function offers 20-second raise and lower times.

Safety features include: Isuzu’s Electronic Stability Control (IESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Anti-Skid Regulator (ASR) and Hill-Start Assist (HAS).

“We’re extremely proud to get the Tri-Tipper out on the road so our customers can see how it simplifies so many applications,” Humphries said.
