New president elect appointed by ALRTA

The Australian Livestock and Rural Transporters Association has named Stephen Marley as its President Elect.

A past chair of TruckSafe and a former Livestock and Rural Transporters Association of Western Australia President, Marley has been a long time member of the ALRTA Council.

He replaces as National President Kevin Keenan who has held the role for three years.

The ALRTA also thanked outgoing Treasurer, Ron Pattel, who it said had made an “enormous contribution in overseeing our association’s structural and financial reform process over the past six years.”

The one-year term of each elected representative commences 1 October in accordance with the ALRTA Constitution.

The board will include Scott McDonald and John Beer as Vice Presidents, Fiona Wild as Treasurer, Grant Robins as Secretary and David Smith as Australian Trucking Association Representative.
