NTC to speak at ARTSA Global Heavy Vehicle Leaders Summit

National Transport Commission (NTC) Chief Executive and Commissioner, Paul Retter, will present at the Australian Road Transport Suppliers Association (ARTSA) 2018 Global Heavy Vehicle Leaders Summit in Melbourne on May 8.

The NTC is an inter-governmental agency charted with improving productivity, safety and environmental performance of Australia’s road, rail and intermodal transport systems. Retter said he will discuss changes in automated transport systems, increases in on-demand and shared mobility solutions as well as how the industry should prepare for the future at the Summit.

Hosted by ARTSA, in association with leading innovative companies and organisations, the Summit will give key decision makers a forum to share business intelligence and find strategies to capitalise on the disruptive forces and game changing events in today’s world.

Attendees will also be able to hear from Transport Certification Australia (TCA) CEO, Chris Koniditsiotis, on telematics and Australia’s Leading Chief Scientist, Dr Alan Finkel, on how science and engineering drive Australian prosperity.
