Prime Mover magazine appoints new Editor

Bianca Dohnt has been appointed the new Editor of industry leading transport business publication, Prime Mover.

Dohnt, who is also the Editor of Trailer Magazine, recently caught the industry’s attention as the host of the 2017 Women In Industry Conference and Awards, taking on a national leadership role across the mining, manufacturing and transport industries.

Having held a Heavy Rigid Non-synchromesh licence since 2015, she is considered a rising star in the Australian transport publishing scene and will work closely with seasoned industry journalist, Peter Shields, on carrying the Prime Mover brand into the future.

Dohnt will follow in the footsteps of Sebastian Grote, who was recognised with the prestigious 'Young Achiever of the Year' Freight Industry Award in 2015, and founding Editor Peter Armstrong, winner of the Australian Trucking Association’s 2011 Don Watson Memorial Award for a lifetime dedicated to the commercial road transport industry.

Dohnt will be supported by experienced B2B journalist, Luke Applebee (pictured below), the latest addition to Prime Creative Media’s Commercial Road Transport (CRT) team.

Applebee has a background in copywriting and content marketing, working with a range of businesses from solar and engineering to freight forwarding and 3PL.

With a special focus on digital marketing and content creation, Applebee has a strong strategic edge and can draw on years of experience in social media campaign management.

He will drive the team’s digital product portfolio and also contribute to Trailer Magazine.

Sebastian Grote will continue to serve and work closely with the industry as Editor of Global Trailer, and support the new leadership team during the transition phase.
