Road safety to feature at ARTSA Summit

Monash University Accident Research Centre Senior Research Fellow, Dr Sharon Newnam, will present at the Australian Road Transport Suppliers Association (ARTSA) 2018 Global Heavy Vehicle Leaders Summit in Melbourne on May 8.

Newnam is an organisational psychologist and has conducted theoretical and applied research in workplace road safety for over a decade. At the Summit, she will discuss targeted prevention approaches across the commercial road transport industry, highlighting the need for better quality data.

Hosted by ARTSA, in association with leading innovative companies and organisations, the Summit will give key decision makers a forum to share business intelligence and find strategies to capitalise on the disruptive forces and game changing events in today’s world.

Attendees will also be able to hear from Transport Certification Australia (TCA) CEO, Chris Koniditsiotis, on telematics and Australia’s Leading Chief Scientist, Dr Alan Finkel, on how science and engineering drive Australian prosperity.
