Scania to showcase NTG range in Brisbane

Scania is keen to promote the continuing shift towards a sustainable transport future, with the company set to display a diverse range of its up-to-the-minute, efficient and cost-effective trucks termed New Truck Generation (NTG) at the upcoming Brisbane Truck Show in May this year.

Central among the hardware exhibits will be the New Truck Generation V8 flagship, flanked by a Scania XT tipper, a G-series prime mover, and two P-series rigids: one powered by a diesel engine and the other dedicated to running on alternative fuels.

Scania will once again emphasise its business efficiency solutions that are becoming an increasingly integral part of the Scania offering to operators across the industry, from owner-drivers to national fleets.

In addition, Scania experts will be on hand to discuss fleet monitoring and driver training, as well as contract maintenance programs, preventative maintenance and rental and used vehicle sourcing.

Furthermore, representatives from Scania Finance Australia will be at the stand to discuss various fleet planning and funding arrangements.

As with previous events, the Scania barista will be keeping the coffee flowing strongly from go to whoa, catering for all who drop by the stand for a browse, or just for a chance to catch up with a few familiar faces.

In light of this, anyone who has a particular topic they’d like to discuss with the Scania experts on the stand is invited to contact their Scania representative before the show to book a time for a quiet chat.

“Scania will have an all-new line up of trucks never seen before at a public truck show in Australia. A wide selection of Scania’s NTG range will be displayed, while visitors to the stand will also get to meet many Scania experts from across the business, including Driver Services, Operating Contracts, Scania Rental and our people and Culture Managers,” a Scania spokesman said.

“As in previous years our focus will be as much on the services we provide – which help our customers achieve the best total operating economy and thus business profitability – as it will be on the exciting new trucks. In addition we will have some new concepts to reveal that will support our leadership of the shift towards a sustainable transport future for Australia.”
