Stockmaster BDM on rural trucking leadership

The Australian Livestock and Rural Transporters Association has announced that Stockmaster Business Development Manager, Angela Mumma, will represent the rural trucking sector at the 2019 Daimler Truck and Bus Future Leaders’ Forum.

Mumma has extensive experience in the transport and logistics industries, particularly the heavy vehicle freight sector. While working at Stockmaster, she has negotiated KPIs with key customers, introduced a new accounting system and overseen the rollout of safer new technology such as electronic braking systems (EBS) across the fleet.

As part of the leadership program, Mumma will undertake an innovative project that aims to further improve business performance by developing and implementing a comprehensive new business system tailored specifically to the needs of livestock transporters.

Stockmaster is a prominent member of the Livestock, Bulk and Rural Carriers Association (LBRCA) and part of the ALRTA Large and National Operators Member Chapter. Stockmaster proprietor and ALRTA Life Member, Robert Cavanagh, was proud to support Mumma’s application.

“I have been greatly impressed by Angela’s performance at Stockmaster,” said Cavanagh. “Her knowledge, skills and enthusiasm have improved my business and she certainly has the potential to be a respected leader in the rural trucking sector.”

ALRTA has thanked the Australian Trucking Association (ATA) and Daimler Truck and Bus for the opportunity to put forward a high calibre young candidate for the leadership program.
