TII Group to launch transport solutions in Hanover

Transporter Industry International GmbH (TII Group) will launch its latest Truckwiesel, an ergonomically optimised swap body transporter at the IAA Commercial Vehicle Trade Show in Hanover.

Designed to customer specific requirements, Truckwiesel operates in logistics yards and terminals. Its application is suited to logistics companies, mail order businesses, postal operators and parcel service providers.

TII Group, an international manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicles with hydraulically supported pendulum axles, has confirmed it will hold a press conference on 19 September as part of the announcement.

According to Jürgen Dirr, Area Sales Manager of Kamag, a subsidiary of TII, the body transporter has been engineered to make the intralogistics of its customers more economical and efficient.

“In order to keep abreast of the market, we are constantly optimising our products and solutions,” he said.

In so doing Kamag will offer a new cab with an enlarged windscreen for optimum all-ground visibility, a maximum low access height and a range of ergonomic features.

Mounting options for data terminals will include greater storage possibilities for added convenience. An emission free model featuring an electric drive will also be available in the swap body transporter.

As part of its stand, TII Group has confirmed it will share insights from its workshop research, which will include a presentation on its autonomous transport solutions for driverless-oncoming traffic operations in logistics yards.

TII, through its subsidiaries Scheuerle and Nicolas, is also set to showcase its semi-modular platform trailers for freight assignments under 100 tonnes. The low dead weight trailers have been built for transporting machinery, transformers and large plant components and will be showcased in the outdoor display area at Hanover.

The 2018 IAA Commercial Vehicle Trade Show runs 20-27 September.
