Toll Group joins forces with TrackSAFE Foundation

Toll Group has partnered with TrackSAFE Foundation announced the logistics and freight company today.

A memorandum of understanding has been reached between the two companies in order to create safer workplaces for rail and road employees around Australia.

Through the partnership the organisations will pool resources and expertise to build resilience, improve safety outcomes and promote mental health within the road transport and rail industries.

The collaboration, according to Michael Byrne, Toll Group Managing Director, enables both companies to take advantage of individual assets and resources and support the rail and road industry employees under their employ.

“Our MoU marks the start of our relationship, and there’s a great deal of work ahead of us. We look forward to a meaningful partnership with TrackSAFE to create safer workplaces for all rail and road employees across Australia.”

A harm prevention charity, TrackSAFE Foundation is an Australian rail initiative established in 2012. Its mandate is to help assist reduce suicide, trespass and level crossing incidents on the rail network while mitigating trauma caused to rail employees who witness these incidents on the job.
