Travelling Tradie relies on Isuzu NPR

Queensland-based door specialist and handyman, Gary Harris, uses his Isuzu NPR 45-155 Tradepack to tow his caravan and to take his tools on the road.

Harris of Travelling Tradie told Isuzu that the NPR has been put through the paces in terms of durability, power and drivability.

“It’s been everywhere; I’ve driven it for long stretches,” said Harris.

“I’ve given it a good trial way out west, driving it along developing roads,” he said – adding that there are service centres everywhere in the event he needs to support.

The NPR has more than enough power and durability for Harris’ purposes, according to Isuzu, with a a gross vehicle mass (GVM) of 4,500 kg, power of 114 kW at 2,600 rpm and torque of 419 Nm at 1,600–2,600 rpm.

Harris said that the NPR is more than just a reliable workhorse.

“It’s so bloody good to drive—far easier to drive than the others I’ve had in the past,” said Harris. He explained that the vehicle also has an excellent turning circle.

The NPR features Isuzu Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Anti-Skid Regulator and driver and passenger airbag with seat pretensioner.
