Truck Industry Council welcomes new member

The Australian Trucking Association (ATA) has welcomed Coolibah Herbs as the newest member of its Industry Technical Council (ITC).

Victorian family business, Coolibah Herbs, is a wholesale fresh produce grower, supplier and distributor operating a 30-vehicle strong fleet across the state and to Sydney markets.

The ATA created the ITC to improve trucking equipment, maintenance and maintenance management by bringing members and specialists together, including vehicle designers, manufacturers, equipment, suppliers and maintenance specialists, to exchange ideas and information.

“We are pleased to have Coolibah Herbs on board,” said ATA Senior Engineering Advisor, Chris Loose.

“They bring with them a wealth of experience and join with our other members to continuously develop and improve the technical understanding of heavy vehicles.”

Coolibah Herbs’ maintenance manager, Rod Melrose, said,

“Coolibah Herbs is focused on continuing to develop all aspects of its safety operations, and we also place a high value on preventative maintenance and reducing maintenance costs."
