Truckline appoints Geoff Buswell to newly created role

National truck and trailer parts retailer Truckline has appointed Geoff Buswell to the National Sales Manager it is expected to announce tomorrow.

The newly created role will see Buswell responsible for growing the sales of Truckline nationally through its 23 stores and online retail channels.

Team training is expected to be another key area he will oversee.

He joins Truckline from IVECO, where previously he was Dealer Channel Director where he generated retail sales programs and customer engagement.

After two years of growth Mick Henderson, Truckline General Manager said the creation of the new National Sales Manager position follows the development of new stores in Bunbury and Eagle Farm in addition to the establishment of a product distribution centre in Western Australia.

“Additionally, we’ve doubled the number of website users since our ecommerce launch last year and improved the efficiency of our internal processes,” said Henderson.

“Geoff’s appointment will allow us to consolidate on and build upon these efforts to ensure continued benefits to our customers.”

Buswell said he was thrilled to have the opportunity to help drive the next phase of growth of Truckline.

“During my time at IVECO I gained valuable industry insights and market experience that will prove useful in my new role,” he said.

“I am excited to bring a fresh outlook to the position and to build on the success of Mick and the team.”

“We have one of the best sales teams in the business, most have been providing first class customer support with Truckline or in other areas of the transport industry for many years,” added Buswell.

“We want to build this further and expand on our existing knowledge through increased training with our suppliers”.
