Victorian Government supports local manufacturing

The Victorian Government is supporting Victorian manufacturing as part of the 2017 Victorian Manufacturing Showcase.

Minister for Industry and Employment, Ben Carroll, has officially opened the event at Victoria University in Sunshine.

The showcase, hosted by the Victorian Government and the Industry Capability Network will unite 350 local manufacturers, displaying Victorian-made products and vehicles.

Lara-based company, Air Radiators, will be recognised in the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame for providing high-value engine cooling technology for heavy machinery including trucks.

“Setting up this sector for future growth is critical, and that’s why our new industry strategy will help create new highly-skilled jobs and grow local businesses,” said Carroll.
