Daimler Trucks appoints new Chief Developer

The Daimler Board of Management has announced that Sven Ennerst will take on global responsibility for the development department at Daimler Trucks effective from August 1, 2013. Ennerst will succeed Georg Weiberg, who will retire after working for Daimler for more than 40 years.

The Brisbane Truck Show was the venue for the Australian launch of Paccar’s own aftermarket parts brand, known as TRP. The business started in Europe as a range of trailer parts sold via DAF dealers and has since grown to be a $300 million global aftermarket brand, according to James Mackie, General Manager of Paccar Parts Australia.
