Hino Australia stalwart, Kevin Fielding, has been awarded the Supplier of the Year Award at the Bus Industry Confederation’s (BIC) 2022 Australian Industry Awards.
At the event, Fielding was recognised for his outstanding contribution to the Australian bus industry during his career that has spanned over 50 years.
The award criteria includes continuous support for BIC and State Associations, participation in Association committees and working groups plus a minimum of ten years involvement in the industry as a company or individual.
Fielding has served as a BIC Councillor and on a number of State Association committees during his time at Hino Australia, and he will be celebrating his 25th anniversary with the company next year.
“To receive an award such as this from my peers is truly an honour – I am so fortunate to work in an industry that I love with people who are as passionate about it as I am,” he said.
Manager of Bus for Hino Australia, Sara Clark, said the BIC Australian Industry Awards are an opportunity to recognise and reward excellence within the Australian bus and coach industry.
“There are many corporations in our industry that strive for excellence without compromise to deliver outstanding products and services to the Australian bus market, and it is only every second year that just five national awards are presented,” she said.
