Isuzu Australia celebrates dealer excellence

Nine dealerships have been recognised by Isuzu Australia for top performance.

This follows a record year of sales as well as 34 consecutive years of market leadership.

The Dealer Excellence Awards, according to Isuzu, acknowledge efforts in fostering excellence in key elements of dealership operations including sales, parts, customer experience, training and business management.

Isuzu Australia Director and Chief Operating Officer Andrew Harbison has praised the entire network.

“Last year saw some exceptional results and this could only be achieved with the hard work and dedication exhibited by our Isuzu dealer network,” said Harbison.

“Our network went above and beyond to ensure Isuzu Truck customers had the right product for their needs and the confidence of ongoing support.

“It comes down to all areas of a dealership business working together to give customers a unique experience. It is a team effort and everyone across the top nine dealerships should be recognised for the part they played in receiving these awards.

“It is fair to say that 2022 commenced with plenty of nervousness from some businesses with the pandemic and its effects still a contributing factor. However, as the year progressed the needs of our customers steadily climbed and that put pressure on dealers to deliver.

“Deliver they did, and our record-breaking overall sales volume is the best indicator of this incredible achievement.”

Isuzu Australia’s dealer recognition program evaluates overall yearly performance, scrutinising all areas of the business including sales, customer satisfaction, staff training, business management, as well as service, parts and support.

“We apply strict criteria across the board in determining the Dealer Excellence Awards,” said Harbison. “There are some repeat winners, which is great to see, while we also have some fresh dealerships named in the 2022 list.

“These top nine are the cream of the crop. However, importantly, all Isuzu Truck dealers had a strong year, and this of course is what makes Isuzu the market leader in Australia.”

Representing a mix of both metro and regional locations, of the nine winning dealerships, five are located well outside of major metropolitan areas throughout News South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia. The remaining four winners are located in Melbourne and Sydney, with Adelaide-based North East Isuzu also making the list in 2022.

Isuzu Australia Chief of Sales and Aftersales Ben Lasry praised the top nine Dealer Excellence winners.

“Each year I am thrilled to see the success of the Isuzu network and know that the wider Isuzu family goes above and beyond to ensure the best for our customers,” he said.

“We’ll continue to work alongside our partners in the dealer network to strengthen the Isuzu brand even further. It is a true partnership and one that benefits the end-user.

“I have to say it brings me great pleasure to congratulate our top performers but also the entire dealer network. Well done and we look forward to seeing who shines throughout 2023.”
