Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) National Sales Manager, Les Spaltman, has welcomed the return of Isuzu’s Ready-to-Work Traypack campaign, urging Aussie tradies to think outside the box.
“We know the immediate, pre-bodied, factory-backed nature of this range translates to convenience, efficiency and productivity for Aussie trades,” said Spaltman.
“Tradespeople of all persuasions needn’t look further. Our Ready-to-Work range covers just about every end-use, with truck-tough durability, fuel efficiency, robust towing capacity and that all-important payload,” he said.
In its recently released Future of Trucking Report, IAL contends that operators are increasingly indicating their preference for new, pre-built, fuel efficient trucks that meet the needs of their businesses in boosting productivity and profitability.
According to IAL, 65 per cent of Aussie businesses surveyed as part of the research expressed a strong preference for pre-bodied, turn-key truck solutions.
Heeding the call again in 2021, IAL has reinstated its popular Ready-to-Work Traypack sales campaign, effective 1 April.
Leading the charge, along with the price point, is the versatile NLR 45-150 Traypack short wheelbase model with Isuzu’s ultra-efficient automated manual transmission (AMT).
Sturdy, reliable and certainly powerful for its class, the Isuzu NLR 45-150 SWB Traypack – packing 110kW of punch at 2,800 rpm and 375Nm of torque between 1,600 and 2,800rpm – features a gross vehicle mass of 4,500kg and a gross combination mass of 8,000 kg.
Built truck-tough, this extremely adaptable solution comes pre-built with a heavy-duty 3.15-metre factory-backed aluminium tray complete with integrated load restraint anchor points and removable split drop sides and rear tailgate.
With the ability to be driven on a standard car licence, as well as the ready-to-work, turnkey nature of the NLR Traypack, IAL contends the argument for this solution is strong – whichever trade or industry you’re in.
