Last mile specialist launches home delivery digital campaign amid surging demand

Courier services best suited to the social-distancing conditions regulated by Government are more essential than ever according to a new digital commercial from Aramex Australia.

Featuring an essential delivery of toilet rolls to an elderly resident, the light hearted commercial provides a reminder of how urgent supplies are needed to residents isolated at home and for pets who need food and medicine during this period of COVID-19 government regulations.

The campaign follows Aramex reporting an increase in deliveries by more than 30 per cent compared to the same time last year.

Aramex Australia CEO Peter Lipinski said the new digital campaign highlights the network’s commitment to meeting the delivery needs of Australia in these challenging times.

“At a time when home delivery is more important than ever, we wanted to remind Australia that Aramex continues to remain open for business and we are ready to deliver what matters most to communities across the country,” he said.

“Our national and international network is fully operational and rising to the challenges of increasing demand as we keep parcels and deliveries on track,” said Lipinski.

The current social distancing measures have continued a significant increase in demand on delivery.

More Australians were working from home and Aramex, according to Lipinski, was seeing a surge in home deliveries as well as customers delivering care packages to friends and family.

“Our 800 plus Courier Franchisees delivering across 28 regional franchise networks have adapted to the new landscape and are going above and beyond every day to deliver the goods that Australians need,” he said.

Aramex Australia also offers a Parcel Connect Service which allows for parcels to be dropped off and collected at a range of local stores and petrol stations at a time that suits them.
