UD donates to Japan

UD Trucks Corporation has committed 100 million yen (approximately A$1.24 million) in goods such as trucks to support earthquake recovery and relief efforts in Japan.

The Volvo Group has approximately 9500 employees in Japan and its main presence and production is centered at the UD Trucks facilities in Ageo, Saitama prefecture. These buildings suffered minor damage as a result of the recent earthquakes.

The Volvo Group is arranging donations from its employees to support those affected in Japan.
