Northline appoints GM

Transport and logistics business, Northline, has bolstered its leadership to support its expansion plans.

Adam Rogers has been appointed General Manager – Finance and Administration.

Northline CEO, Craige Whitton, said Rogers brings with him valuable expertise in commercial and financial management, and corporate governance and risk.

“Adam will be a strong addition to Northline’s Executive team, and I look forward to working with him and the team as we expand our operations and services in key Australian and global markets,” said Whitton.

Rogers, who has been the Chief Financial Officer for a large, national engineering and manufacturing firm for the past eight years, has held senior finance and commercial roles in Australia and the UK, firstly with PwC and then in-house with national and international firms spanning recruitment, packaging and manufacturing.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Flinders University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Governance Institute of Australia.

Rogers said he was delighted to join Northline at an exciting time in the evolution of the business.

“Northline has enjoyed success in a challenging and highly competitive industry for nearly 40 years because they’ve invested and innovated, and they’ve focussed on customer service and building strong relationships with their customers,” he said.

“I’m looking forward to being part of the talented and dedicated Northline team.”

Earlier this year, Northline introduced a next-day delivery service from Townsville to Mount Isa.
