Perth Office Relocation Solutions adds new vehicle to medical equipment task

Perth-based removalist, Office Relocation Solutions, recently purchased a new light-duty Isuzu NNR 45-150 from WA dealer Major Motors Isuzu.

The new unit joins a raft of Isuzu trucks the company operates including a medium-duty FRR 600 and six light-duty N Series trucks spanning the NPR and NNR ranges.

Managing Director Andrew Tait said the investment in top-notch, specialised equipment allows Office Relocation Services to pack-up and transport medical grade equipment as easily as it can move bulk pallets of warehouse stock.

“Every piece of equipment we implement is designed to reduce the risks of manual handling,” said Tait.

“All our trucks have a full-size hydraulic tail lift, and inside the body we have low track retaining systems with spring-loaded bars and ratchet straps to hold everything in place during transit,” he said.

“We also specified air suspension to ensure the best ride for fragile and sensitive items.”

Tait said with much of the work centred around buildings in the Perth CBD, often with restricted height access, the smaller Isuzu trucks are well suited to the task.

At 2.7 metres tall and with a tight turning circle, the new NNR 45-150 is a good case in point.

The NNR has a Gross Vehicle Mass of 4,500kg, allowing it to be driven on a car licence, and features Isuzu’s well proven 4JJ1-TCS engine.

Packing 110kW at 2,800rpm and 375Nm from 1,600rpm, the NNR 45-150 has the capacity to match Tait’s requirements, while still meeting those all-important height restrictions.

Before founding Office Relocation Solutions in 2010, Tait worked with Kent Moving and Storage for seven years where he drove his fair share of Isuzu trucks.

“I’d worked with Isuzu before and enjoyed driving them, so it was a natural choice for me to stick with a brand I knew was reliable,” he said – adding that the demanding schedules and tight deadlines in his current operation are prime reasons why he has continued his decade-long relationship with Isuzu Trucks.

“Isuzus are just a great all-round truck – they’re easy to drive and maintenance is straightforward and simple,” said Tait.

“We’ve had very few issues with our Isuzu trucks and the first NPR 200 purchased in 2010 is still running as strong and smooth as ever.”
