Ron Finemore Transport addresses B-double incident

Ron Finemore Transport has released an update regarding its B-double incident at Moree, New South Wales on 26 October.

“I am happy to confirm that this investigation found no fault with Ron Finemore Transport or the driver,” said Ron Finemore Transport Managing Director, Mark Parry.

The response was in regards to a video surfacing online during November, which showed a Ron Finemore Transport B-double in the middle of a parking area with three destroyed rims.

In the video, the driver was confronted by two people who began filming the incident.

According to Parry, the B-double experienced multiple tyre fails before the driver was able to pull over safely.

Following the incident on 14 November, the NHVR contacted Parry to advise him that it would not be commencing an investigation into the matter.

“There are no suspected contraventions of the Heavy Vehicle National Law relating to the company or its executives,” the NHVR said in a statement.
