Chemical solvents and non-degradable detergents commonly used to clean trucks, buses and heavy earthmoving equipment can inadvertently find their way into stormwater systems. To overcome this, Simple Green has launched a new Truck Wash designed to clean safely.
Simple Green Truck Wash can be applied by pressure washer, foaming gun, spray pack or brush sponge. It is low foaming so less water is required when rinsing and it also features Quick Break so is ideal in wash bays equipped with an oil/water separator.
Safe cleaning products are also an important consideration in the health and safety guidelines that govern Australian workplaces. Workers may be regularly exposed to toxic cleaning chemicals either through direct exposure or indirectly through residue. Formaldehyde, phenol, benzene and toluene are found in common industrial cleaners and all have been shown as toxic to the immune system. It is particularly important that employees with allergies avoid industrial cleaners wherever possible especially those containing bleach. Simple Green Truck Wash is non-hazardous and readily biodegradable, without harmful bleach or ammonia.
Simple Green Truck Wash is also non abrasive and non corrosive so it won’t scratch or damage surfaces and is suitable for use over the entire vehicle. As it is non flammable, there is no risk of fire which is particularly important when working around motor vehicles.
