It’s that time of year again and the Australian Trucking Association is calling for nominations for workshop staff for the Craig Roseneder Award for Technical and Maintenance Excellence in the Workshop. The award is presented each year at the gala dinner for the Technical and Maintenance Conference organised by the ATA and the Australian Road Transport Suppliers Association (ARTSA).
It is open to anyone who works for a trucking company, supplier or commercial workshop as a workshop manager or mechanic or who provides support within the maintenance field for heavy vehicles. Candidates need to have a minimum of three years experience and be able to demonstrate high levels of skill and aptitude.
The judges are also looking for people who have demonstrated commitment to the job and the Australian trucking industry. The winner of the award will receive a scholarship to attend the American Trucking Association TMC meeting in early 2011 with $1500 worth of spending money.
